The hotel is conveniently located near Taipei Main Station.
During my stay, I encountered several issues that left me feeling frustrated. The air conditioning was barely working, making the room uncomfortably warm, and I noticed that some walls had peeling wallpaper. Additionally, I was surprised by the lack of basic bathroom amenities like proper towels, having to rely on disposable options instead.

The location was great, being only a short walk from popular spots like Ximending and the Museum of Contemporary Art. What stood out the most was the high water pressure in the shower and the clean, spacious room we had. While I was a bit disappointed with the lack of bath towels, the overall experience was fine for a family stay.

close to Taipei Main Station, perfect location for city exploration, bathtub in the room
The whole place could use a thorough cleaning!!! No hot water for two days was quite inconvenient!!! The internet connection dropped frequently, and the heavy key was cumbersome. It felt like a hassle instead of a convenience!!!

I had a fantastic time with my friends! We easily visited historical sites and enjoyed the vibrant night markets. The hotel is super convenient for access to public transport, and there's a 7/11 nearby for snacks. The friendly staff made our stay even better, helping us out with everything we needed.
One downside was the air conditioner, which couldn't be adjusted and made the room pretty chilly at times during our stay.

Big room with high pressure water, and a massive TV! The USB outlets were a pleasant surprise (not what you expect in a budget place). Easy to find right out of Taipei main station!
Nothing, all excellent.

great staff but noisy neighbors
The staff were wonderful—very patient and helpful when we faced issues with payment. The room was large and impeccably clean. The high water pressure in the shower was a delight. I truly appreciated having a big TV with English language channels available for winding down after a day of exploring.
There were quite a few disturbances from noisy neighbors during the nights.

The stay at New May Flower was quite enjoyable for a work trip. The room was spacious and equipped with modern USB outlets, adding convenience for charging devices. The high-pressure shower was a highlight, offering a refreshing experience after a long day. The hotel’s proximity to key transportation links made navigating the city easy and efficient.
The only downside was the occasional noise from neighboring rooms.

missingWrote a review on Apr 29friendly staffconvenient locationnoisy environmentcleanliness issueslimited amenities
The location is excellent, making it easy to navigate the city, and the friendly staff showed great effort in communicating, despite limited English skills. I was pleasantly surprised to find convenient USB outlets and a large TV, enhancing my stay. However, the noise from neighboring rooms was quite disruptive, and the cleanliness in some areas could use improvement. A bathtub was a nice touch, but lacking a few amenities dampened the overall experience.
